The First 20 Hours - How to Learn Anything

Not only does Josh Kaufman show in this video that it only takes us 20 hours to learn something new, but it also shows how research results can be misinterpreted: how we went from needing 10000 hours to become a world-class expert in a highly competitive field, to the idea that it takes 10000 hours to learn something.

So, do you need to learn a new coding language for your PhD, or learn a new hobby? Set aside 20 hours for deliberate practice (using the hacks that Josh Kaufman shows in his video), and you'll be well on your way to learn something new.
